Coonawarra was the place to be over the weekend of the 16th-18th of October as we celebrated all things Cabernet with the Coonawarra Cabernet Weekend.

 

The weekend included everything from special dinners to master classes and private vineyard tours to brunches.

 

Three days of fun, food and fabulous wine culminated with Coonawarra's biggest event, the Barrel Series Auction and Sparkling Brunch. Held at Wynn's Coonawarra Estate the event was a huge success with the highest barrel being from the hosts and selling for $19,800.

 

At DiGiorgio Family Wines we hosted  'Taste of Italy 3' with Richard van Ruth returning to host. Selected Italian varietal wines were tasted alongside those of the DiGiorgio Family, Italian antipasti homemade by Rita and Margot DiGiorgio accompanied each bracket of wineand tastings of Italian cheese were  available in cellar door all day. The event was sold out with people raving about the food and wine pairing and many already booking in for next year!
